Dear Friends,

The recent years at Prospect UMC have been very exciting. We have had the privilege of being a part of God’s vision for our community through the growth of our ministries and our church family. With opportunities always come challenges. We have been diligent to listen to God’s direction and heed to the call to move forward with a Family Life Center.

This Family Life Center will continue to position Prospect UMC as an outpost in our community for children, youth and adults. We will be able to expand our current ministries and make room for new ministries God has laid on people’s hearts.

Because of the unique opportunities God has placed before us, we are embarking on a capital funds campaign. Through this campaign, we will raise the funds needed to grow our facilities and our ministries. It is very clear: we are quickly running out of space. Just try scheduling a meeting for an evening during the week, or try launching a new ministry and seeking space for it to flourish. Now is the time we must begin to plan for our future growth and the future generations who will be ministered to through Prospect UMC.

Our campaign theme is Footprints for the Future. This theme captures the spirit of our church in establishing a place for the making of future disciples. It is my hope that you will support Prospect UMC’s Footprints for the Future program. I will be introducing the Steering Committee to you on March 16. You will be learning more about this campaign in the coming few months via mail and through handouts and announcements on Sunday mornings.

We will also be launching a special Bible Study series entitled “Lifestyle Stewardship.” It is my hope and prayer that you will become involved in these studies and the campaign so God will give you a vision and an opportunity to be part of something great, and of eternal value. Your prayers, participation, and support are greatly needed and valued.

May God bless you and make you bold in your service for Him.

Because He Lives,

Rev. Grady Mosley
